I did !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! a long time ago with a 964, (and I still want desperately to build it). Now I’m scaling back the initial investment to a Cayman instead of a 911.

Might work.

Just buy a fixer-upper before the 964 prices start to skyrocket, and get building! Clay and fiberglass may be expensive, but they’re still doable. Beating panels, though, that would be difficult.

Sorry for filling up your notifications with stars, but I hadn’t seen some of these...

Here’s a sampling of my design work: http://davidlange.co/

Not my day job, but my passion.

Here’s another recent one (done for Jim Glickenhaus’ son-in-law):

Pretty much. I edited my earlier post with some of my logo design work. I’ve never been much of an illustrator (something I want to work to improve), but I love coming up with a good solution for a design challenge by sketching out ideas and then meticulously creating and fine-tuning the final work.

That's what good design is... Looked at the portfolio. Think more about type treatment! How are you designing this stuff? As in, software, and font files. So much of what you're doing is type-dependent, it looks like. Don't worry so much about the illustration (unless that's what you really want to be doing), and think about what the letters are doing.

I’m using Illustrator, primarily, and typefaces in the catalog I have, or what I can find that works for the design I’m working on. Thanks for the advice - I definitely could spend more time increasing my font knowledge, adding good options to my catalog and considering additional options each time I work on a design.
